Class1c

Class1c started off his DJ & Radio Career as an Intern for a Community Radio Station in his hometown of Portland OR. After graduating he packed up and made the risky move to Los Angeles.

Despite being in a new city with no friends or family, Class1c stayed focused on grabbing his next Radio Gig. KXOL Latino 96.3 FM was a start up radio station that was looking for fresh new blood and he was the perfect fit. After paying his dues for several months the station executives quickly capitalized on the buzz that Class1c was bringing to the streets of Los Angeles. He soon became an official On-Air mixer for the popular Los Angeles radio station.  At that time Class1c linked with another up and coming young gun Eddy-Xpress, who together with the founder DJ Crumbz formed a three member DJ Crew known as “The Pitch SLappers”.

A true jack of all trades, Class1c later moved on to a new Project with a new vision. Legendary Radio Personality, "Rick Dees In The Morning" created a new Morning Show with Emmis Communications and Class1c knew that KMVN Movin 93.9 fm would be his new home. He worked on the street team and also doubled in the imaging department for Dees Entertainment. He spent a year with KMVN and eventually grew into a new opportunity down the hall with sister station, KPWR Power 106 FM.  Initially working in The Promotions Department he began being readily available to work also as a board operator as well as an assistant with the imaging department.  Staying humble and working hard soon gave him and DJ partner, Xpress an opportunity of a lifetime to mix during prime time inside KPWR's 5 O' Clock Jump Off Mix Segment.

While enjoying an amazing ride, he returned to his home town of Portland where he worked in production and imaging for Clear Channel’s five station cluster including KKRZ Z100 FM. With several notches of expertise under his belt, he took another risk in order to grow and build his on-air experience further by moving to Boise, ID taking on the night show from 7 till Midnight, on KWYD Wild 101.1 FM.  His new gig had him wearing many different hats where he infused all his skills together.  Aside from his 7pm-12am on-air shift, he also mixed during the 5 O' Clock Traffic Jam Monday thru Friday as well as on his own show for the 9 O’ Clock Shake That Ass Mix, and was also responsible for the Creative Imaging and overall sound of Wild 101.1 FM Idaho's Party Station.

As a true fan of Hip Hop music, Class1c moved back to Los Angeles, CA for an opportunity with LA’s REAL Hip Hop Station 935 KDAY!
