Class1c

Class1c started off his DJ & Radio Career as an Intern for a Community Radio Station in his hometown of Portland, OR. Growing up he spent his summers in New York with his uncle who introduced him to a whole new culture and side of hip hop & rap he had never experienced before.  He even mixed at clubs Spa & Cheetah in New York at the age of 14. Balancing High School and a love for mixing & radio gave him the drive to take his passions to another level. After graduating he packed up and made a move to Los Angeles. 

Class1c started his radio career in LA from the jump.  After paying his dues for several months, station executives quickly capitalized on the buzz that Class1c was bringing to the streets of Los Angeles. He soon became an On-Air mixer.

A true jack of all trades, Class1c has mixed for many artists and top level clubs all over the country.  He also worked on Street Teams and doubled in Imaging Department’s fine tuning and harnessing his production skills for some of LA’s biggest radio stations.  He is also the owner & founder of his own production company “Class1c Productions LLC” where he voices, produces, and mixes for radio stations and companies all over the country.

Staying humble and working hard soon gave Class1c an opportunity of a lifetime.  As a true fan of Hip Hop music there couldn’t have been a better fit, Class1c began working for 93.5 KDAY FM in 2010 as Imaging Director and On-Air mixer. You can now catch him hosting and mixing Afternoons Monday through Friday from 3-7pm with co-host DJ Dense.

This Los Angeles born & raised DJ brings his unique flare to any event, production, or party. With 20 years of experience he has become a staple in Los Angeles nightlife and radio. DJ Dense is known for his unique and innovative style that keeps any crowd engaged. He has a passion for mixing music for everyone to enjoy.  Due to his crowd pleasing mixing talents, DJ Dense has become one of the most sought after DJ’s.

Although notorious for mixing R&B and hip hop, DJ Dense has been known to mix all genres of music including Latin, Dancehall, Reggae, House and more. He has mixed for and been an on air personality for several Los Angeles radio stations, interviewed A-list celebrities, been on tour with Grammy winning artist, and has received multiple sponsorships from top companies.

If DJ Dense is not showcasing his talents on a syndicated nationwide radio station, college party, celebrity party, concert, or nightclub, he can be found at the Los Angeles Staples Center. The Los Angeles Clippers and the NBA take pleasure in his talents by having him as the Clippers in area game night DJ.
