Straight outta' Long Beach was a DJ named Eddy Xpress. His interest in music and mixing rocketed when he began working at a record shop, where he was then discovered and introduced to on-air mixing at various radio stations around the country. Learning everything he possibly could along the way, he grasped every experience and opportunity and has ran with it. With over a decade of experience and honing in on his skills with everyday practice, he has become DJ that he is today.
You can spot Eddy mixing throughout the Orange County/Los Angeles/San Diego night life scene.
Truly a fan of great music with roots as a hip hop scratch dj, Eddy Xpress developed a taste for house music and used his turntable skills to blend house tunes with hip hop techniques. Eddy Xpress has never confined himself to just one genre of music. To describe his sound would be the result of mixing hip-hop, 80s, rock, house, along with a few skilled scratches into a blender to create a smooth open format style of his own.
